I'm Jason, owner of Etree tree service. My love for plants and trees started at a very young age. One of my first jobs was at a plant nursery, where I spent five years learning about plants and how to care for them.

Along the way, I earned my plant professional certification. Nursery work gave me a reason to get my hands dirty and spend my days around the things I love.

I’ve spent the last three years as a wildland firefighter and sawyer, working throughout the Pacific Northwest. Running a saw and working in the woods became a big part of my life. Between the nursery and the fireline, I knew I wanted to keep working with trees.

Over the several years, I've worked with other tree professionals and dedicated myself to learning the trade. My teams have done big jobs like whole tree takedowns and jobs as small as pruning individual branches.

In this experience, I learned how to rig safely to control and lower limbs during removals. I enjoy both the challenge of a big removal and the care it takes to choose the right branch to prune.

I started etree in 2026 to do that work here in my community with other tree experts. I'm proud to own a local business, provide a safe place to work, and get to know the people I work for.

Our team uses electric equipment because it's quieter and more environmentally friendly. Tree work can be loud, and we like being able to give our customers and their neighbors a little more peace, quiet, and clean air.
